A celebration hosted by Nike’s ASCEND network of the transition from the Wood Snake (2025) that embodies reflection & shedding into the Year of the Fire Horse (2026) of action & progression, honored during Lunar New Year day on February 17, 2026. We created a branding system and visual language that captures the spirit of the Fire Horse for the ASCEND network.

The branding system were used throughout the weeks leading up to Lunar New Year across WHQ and other GEOS (NYHQ, LAHQ, and Greater China) for their internal employee activations including LNY Flyer, GC x GEL Year of the Horse Product Feature, T-shirt, Stickers, Workvivo + Email Banner, Zoom Backgrounds, Nike Food Services and Cafe takeovers. This also includes a Visual Center / Branding One Pager of the visual language and elements. The result is a dynamic suite of assets—illustration, typography, color, pattern, and motion—that captures the Year of the Fire Horse’s fierce momentum during Lunar New Year while paying homage to Asian culture.

Visual identity represents the themes of momentum and progression via a bold visual direction with angular forms, striking shapes, dynamic compositions, and vibrant color - all while bringing in Year of the Fire Horse themes & Lunar New Year motifs.
